My guesses for the shadowed characters are Aerith (obviously actually); either an FF3 character or a Tarutaru; Ifrit (less obvious, Yuna (obvious), I have no idea what that fat thing is (some guy in a huge cloak?), and Lightning (also obvious).

If you wish to play Triple Triad with your friends, then you can try your hand at the Triple Triad Advance experience. I believe that most card game enthusiasts who took any interest in Final Fantasy or Triple Triad end up there.

Personally, I feel that an actual card game by Square Enix is a wasted endeavor if the art is recycled as Rhody mentioned.
