You know, oddly enough, I don't hate FFX's ending. The dialogue is cheesy as hell and over dramatic but when its muted, its actually quite nice.
VIII winning is a surprise, while certainly not the worst, its way too cheerful for my taste. I was actually predicting VII would win this so this one was a surprise.
