Yaaay! She's super cute, right? It's difficult to digest and compare properly to classic favorites.
Unless you're Lamonda and you just write off everything computer animated as being similar to Shrek.

I thought it was cute, as it was supposed to be. One of their better efforts in a long time (not counting the gold Pixar pumps out for them). I found the movie more amusing than truly laugh out loud, but it was consistently amusing and at least didn't desperately go for stupid pop-culture references.
I liked some of the songs and found others boring. At least the villain got in a good one. Those are usually my favorites. I make no apologies for it.
I still want to see Princess and the Frog.
Can you explain why Tangled is so good? WHY? I need to know.
What's wrong with Shrek.
Me and five hot straight guys are gonna see this next week. I can't wait...for obvious reasons.
Omg Princess and the Frog is so good too!
That had more memorable songs than Tangled imho; Tiana and Rapunzel are kinda tied for #1 for me at the moment.
REASONS WHY:
She has that really innocent naivety of Cinderella, but she's also pretty crafty and can take care of herself, she's artistic with her massive murals in the tower, she never compromises herself for the 'prince' figure of the movie (except for the end, hence my slight beef), and she's just really adorable.
It has it's fair share of plot holes, especially this really massive one that's kind of jarring at the end, but I thought it was fairly well done.
Nothing's wrong with Shrek. Well, it's super dorky, but it's good. But it's not a girly fairy tale. And Tangled is!
Tangled is endlessly endearing. The characters are humorous, have heart, and are incredibly lively. And I mean every character, even the flunkies. And most animal companions are irritating, especially ones that don't talk, but Pascal and Maximus are both great! Rapunzel and Flynn have personalities. How many other Disney princes have personalities? Not many. There's humor, sadness, action, and self-sacrificing loooove.
And it's beautiful. Beautiful! Rapunzel's hair looks amazing.
IT'S JUST SO GOOD, CLO, SO GOOD.
Ariel is a babe!! Rap girl is well.....
HOTROD"Lets go for a spin you and I"
I thought it was cute and enjoyable. Disney has always been good about supporting characters and the horse and chameleon (not to mention the rogues) were funny and well done. I liked the interplay between Rapunzel and Flynn.
About the ending, (SPOILER)oddly the magic tears didn't bother me, since I've read a particularly gruesome version where her tears restored her love's eyesight. Don't ask how he lost his eyesight though. Never read a version where she had magic hair though.
It's out already? It doesn't start showing in Australia until Jan 6
But after seeing the trailer and seeing all the good talk here, I look foward to seeing it when it does come out!

But this is what I say the moment after I'm winning
Thank you, Ultimate Victory"

Since no one else has warned Clo, I will! The Princess and the Frog contains the most annoying character in Disney history: Lottie (Charlotte).
What is wrong with you? I love Lottie! It's like the first time Disney made a character that's bratty and spoiled but still unflinchingly good. And she has pink everything!
You all kwazy!
I was pleasantly surprised! The music is awkward and forgettable, but Rapunzel and her boy are cute characters! I like their little love story. Tangled is one billion times better than The Princess and the Frog.
I was right that this movie would be more enchanting in 2D, though. I yearned for this the whole time I was watching.
Rapunzel's obscenely sexual 3D model and Pascal were the best parts of this movie, especially when combined.
