iv used rpg maker a long time ago, couldnt really figure it out though (back when i was an idiot) i remember only being able to design charecters and making a very large hill. is there any way to get the battles into 3rd person and not 1st

Through coding, and I think that 2k3 had it in 3rd person on the side. Though, I know a lot of RPG with battles where the line-ups are horizontal and not vertical and they were pretty good.
