ASK A GAY

Ask a gay, get a gay answer!

Alright, I'll bite. And I'll even start out with a serious question:
Do you believe all gay people are born gay?
I believe that most people who are gay are not out of choice, because, especially considering that in many countries homosexuality is legally punished (even by death), few would choose to be gay.
There are, unfortunately, a very small amount of people who are gay to "be different" like SoBis (social bisexuals).
what do you think of my hair
This twenty-year-old boy was distinguished from childhood by strange qualities, a dreamer and an eccentric. A girl fell in love with him, and he went and sold her to a brothel...
Are you totally repulsed by the female body?
For example, if all of a sudden lesbian porn popped up on your screen, would you have the same reaction as I would if it were gay porn?
kotora: You look like a hipster. It's unruly, but not overly ugly. If you cleaned up just a tad, you could be a bit of a looker.
lom: Not repulsed, but no at all attracted to it. Lesbian porn would make me gag.
rubah: Got asked out by a really nice but very religious girl on my bus two days ago. I told her the news and she was quite upset, then she got really happy by the prospect of having a gay friend and showed me her secret yaoi collection and I told her the gay yaoi clause.
I meant more like a person can be "made" gay during their childhood. Yesterday my dad was lecturing my stepmother to be careful about how she responds when she catches my brother looking at girls because making him ashamed of liking boobies is "how you make gays." I laughed.
I don't think someone can be "made" gay. I just don't. The idea is quite absurd. You can't instill that kind of biological urge in place over another. Trust me, I people could be made gay I'd be an even bigger slut.
I don't know much about this subject, though from my understanding a gene can, under different circumstances, cause something different to happen. So, theoretically, the 'Gay Gene' only acts as a gay gene under certain circumstances. So, it's not 100% laughable that making someone ashamed of looking at boobies could infact lead down a route to becoming gay.
I need to look more into this idea that Genes can do different things though, especially since this is soemthing I vaguely recall hearing. I'm now off to the Internets to solve my problem!
Edit: After reading vaguely through five articles after a google search, I found nothing resembling this claim, and I have now lost interest. SO take nothing I have said here as fact, just as something I recall hearing somewhere.![]()

Seriously how do you react to het guys going half nekkid?
Would you go bigay if it meant 3some with a hot guy?
Which is more offensive? Bigay or bihet?
You don't see any place for psychological impact on sexual preferences? This goes well beyond just heterosexuality/homosexuality, but any desire, sexual or otherwise. It is all so completely caught up in psychological needs that to suggest there can be no post-birth impact is what sounds absurd. Note that this would not make sexual preference any more of a "choice" than the "choice" to like certain foods. It's about what sends pleasurable signals to your brain, which there is no conscious control over. My point is only that that can change (not often and certainly not easily as one grows older, but possibly).
Obviously people being "made gay" (or "made straight") is absurd, at least in the context Amanda's father used it. We cannot predict how every single child will react to certain stimulus. But the whole genetics vs. choice dichotomy has always struck me as false.
