    Default Delicious Around the World

Name some types of ethnic food you have tried. Did you like it?

American-As an American, this is standard fare. I make some mean burgers, though.
Mexican-I love Mexican food, but it gives me heartburn.
Puerto Rican-Very interesting and unique, I especially love the deserts.
    English-I'd rather die.
French-Very good, and you feel more sophisticated eating it.
German-My dad's German, and he makes some mean Wienerschnitzel.
    Italian-Nom Nom Nom
    Ethiopian-Love love love it!
South African-I didn't think I'd like it, but when I tried the local resturaunt, I was pleasantly suprised.
    Indian-Yummy! <3 Hot, though.
Chinese-Delicious, but kinda burnt out on it.
Japanese-There are killer Japanese restaraunts in Memphis. For realz.
Thai-Yum yum! Maybe my fav out of them all!

Name some of your favorite ethnic cuisines.

I could eat Thai all day long. I had some green curry with rice and vegetables earlier, and it was fantastic. Pad thai is the best, though.

The best italian food, obviously, is lasagna.

There are so many great Mexican restraunts around here, being so close to the border. I just love authentic mexican food.

I've had some Indian, Ethiopian and Greek food that was pretty good. Other than that, I think the most ethnic I get is Mexican, Italian and Thai.

lol @ 'ethnic food'. can it get any more PC

anyway. I like a lot of different European (except British food, obviously) and azn cuisine. Most countries have some pretty good food with the occasional disgusting dish in between.

What I absolutely hate is mexican food. Or at least the mexican food I've had in restaurants over here. My friends went to a mexican restaurant a while back despite my warnings. one of them puked afterwards lol

Indian food is amazing and I could eat nothing but butter chicken and pakoras and ras malai until I die.

I sure like me some chili though. And isn't Argentinian food supposed to be good? Or at least their beef is always getting this "omg Argentinian beef" treatment.

My favorite food is Japanese. I also love Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, and French. Italian and Mexican is also very good, though quite boring. I love Korean barbecue, but every other Korean food I've tried so far I didn't like. Chinese is okay. I don't care for English or German food.

One of the best things about where I live is that there's a lot of different foods to eat.

Indian, Thai, Japanese, British (crumpets and scones <3), Cuban, Portugese, Mexican, Korean, German, and Italian. Oh and I've had Chinese food from America, but I don't consider that the real deal. I love Indian, Mexican, and Cuban food the most. Wienerzchel was amazing. I think I also tried bratwurst. As for Italian cuisine, I love biscotti and cannoli. I'm excited to try Ethiopian food during the winter break.

Need in my life to function properly:
Korean - It's my soul food. If I were to choose a last meal, it would be a Korean feast. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing better in the world.
Mexican - I've gone 3 straight days eating carne asada tacos for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. I'm pretty sure I'm addicted to salsa roja. Also love the Tex-Mex, nachos and fajitas. Oh and arroz con pollo!
Italian - Pasta!! Is there anything better? So many types, so many sauces, so many possibilities! My favorite is pappardelle. Mm, and polenta.
American/New American - A little boring sure, but I'm almost never disappointed. I LOVE American food. I could live on burgers and steak.

    Enjoy very much:
Thai - Spaghetti kee mao, pad thai, bbq chicken, thai basil is amazing it makes everything taste better. Mmm, and thai iced tea.
French - I'm kind of obsessed with French poulet rôti, roast chicken.
Brazilian BBQ - Don't get to indulge in churrascarias too often since it's so expensive, but when I do, I got NUTS. I love this stuff.
Spanish - Tapas! Paella is one of my most favorite dishes in the whole world. It's so good.
Mediterranean/Greek - Pita bread, hummus, kebabs, greek salad <3
    Middle Eastern - Shawarma!!
Hawaiian - Spam musubi to Hawaiian style macaroni salad. I crave this every 3 weeks or so.

    Enjoy occasionally
Japanese - I could eat shrimp tempura and udon all day long. Also enjoy sushi to a certain extent.
Chinese - Not a huge fan of authentic Chinese, although I do love Chinese/Korean fusion and fast food Chinese
El Salvadorian - Pupusas! If you've never had pupusas, you must track them down and have some. They're worth it.
Indian - Tikka masala & naan.
Southern - Fried chicken!! Even better when it's fried chicken & waffles!
    Cajun/Creole - Jambalaya, yum!

    Enjoy rarely
German - There's this great place in LA called Wurstküche and that's pretty much the extent of my experience with German. But it was good!
Ethiopian - Tried it once, it was equal parts yummy and gross.
Peruvian - Tried once, it was ok.
Taiwanese - There's this one Taiwanese style popcorn chicken that I'm addicted to.

    Do not enjoy:
Vietnamese - pho, bahn mi, don't like 'em.

    Stuff I want to try:
    Cuban
    Caribbean
    Moroccan
Scandinavian (meatballs at Ikea don't count, right?)

Dear anybody who does not like British food:

    Yorkshire Pudding.

If you do not like yorkshire pudding, you don't deserve food of any kind other than deep fried flakes of skin from my balls.

    Thank you for your time.
