    ZOMG! Is it worth it?

I am peachy keen to play this game, but I have heard mixed reviews.
    So here's the situation:
I live with my brother, and the PS3 is in his room. Trying to remove said PS3 from his room would be a suicide mission. His room smells like week old McDonalds and dirty clothes. Playing FFXIII would not only require me to be in his room, but sit on his bed.

Is this game worth the potential contraction of disease??

You'll only know when you play it, in all honesty. I loved it. Others hated it. It's definitely something you will have to make up your own mind on.

I would suggest finding an alternative place to play the game, if possible, though.

I thought it was fantastic. Just uh, go for it and if you don't like it leave the room! Replay value isn't so great, so you may only have to sit in there for one play through.

I also loved it, and would say yes it is worth it.

You probably won't be super inclined to replay it immediately either as previously mentioned, so that will help. Although, I am currently replaying it and loving it!

I'll be the first downer... no it is not worth it, its a pretty boring game, with an overly angsty cast and plot. There are better games you can be playing on your brothers PS3, and some of them are even shorter, so less brain damage from toxic fumes.

The PS3 controllers are wireless, so you can sit outside in the hallway if you just position his TV right.

The game has zero replay value, which is probably a good thing in your situation. It's also similar to having a 6'4" 250 pound guy behind you who is constantly pushing you forwards in a straight line.

On the bright side, sitting in his room will level up your immune system as much as your characters!

Hmmm, as I suspected, mixed reviews. I'm gathering it's a game I will enjoy, but probably shouldn't be bending over backwards for.
I think I'm gunna chill out till my brother learns to cut the cord with his PS3 so I can put it in the loungeroom to play.

you could get a long HDMI cable to hook it up to your tv. Though FF13 really isn't worth the effort.

It's worth one playthrough if you're a big fan of the series. But that's it, you'll have seen it all in one playthrough. I liked it enough to finish the game, but I don't think I'll replay it. There's no reason to.

I would feel weird knowing I have it and I haven't at least tried it :/
At least they got rid of that completely annoying battle system from XII

XIII's isn't much better. Big chance you'll find yourself wishing for the ability to control your characters during battles like XII did.

"Hope why the smurf are you healing a character with an almost full hp bar when another is nearly dying?!"

What's really grating is when your synergist is wasting his turns casting unnecessary buffs on the whole team. Why do my two ravagers need Brave, for instance? Why can't I stop this heinous mismanagement of time and resources? What's even being "played" at this point?

Bottom line: Don't bother, OP. Not worth your time or health.
