Barret's Ultimate Limit
Hey guys, I'm up to the third disc and I'm absolutely obsessed with this game at the moment, trying to do an almost perfect playthrough, All my characters are level 99, master materia, etc. But here's where I need help; I cannot get Barret's Limit. I've been told it's in correl, and you get it by talking to a lady. But I've talked to everyone and I still haven't got it. I stopped the train earlier in Disc 2, yet I didn't have Barret in my party when I did it. I'm quite confused. :s
you sure that was disc 2 when you stop the train and save the huge materia? thought that was a disc 3 thing

Have you tried it with Barret in your party as well as not? Maybe that affects it. I can't for the life of me remember it. I only remember that you get his ultimate weapon in Midgar and you need him there for that.
Just to make sure, you're looking in North Corel, right? Corel itself is in the desert. I've always gotten it right after the incident with the train on disc 2 with Cid as the party leader so it's possible you may not be able to get it on disc 3. Barret doesn't need to be in the party, that's only for Missing Score later.
Check your inventory - you may have picked it up earlier and forgotten.
It's definately after the runaway train incident. But, as far as I'm concerned, Ungarmax is stronger.

You are probably just missing the hut she is in. I sometimes have a hard time finding it and I've played the game a lot. Anyways best of luck in the future. A perfect game is always a lot of fun.

YES! I found it. The lady was barely visible, but I got it!! Now to finish the game, I plan to kill Sephiroth using just 4x cuts.
