Here's Piccolo as he's about to fire his Special Beam Cannon for the first time. It's not finished yet because I have to put the spark effects and all on his fingers.

I approve. There's something bugging me about the left side of his mouth, though. But yeah, good going. Very nicely done.

Why the white flare up in the right corner?

Everyone else is flipping out about the flare-ish effects which faintly show up. Right there on his face is key because it amounts to a slight discoloration with very little connection to his Special Beam Cannon attack. Everyone just thinks his face is ugly.

Oh I just put a white gradient there because it looked weird having the colors there with no lines. I got lazy so let's pretend it's the sunlight!

I don't think Roto13 is talking about the lens flare, just the wrinkle itself on his cheek. I tried making the flare more visible but it doesn't look that great so it's gonna stay the way it is...
