Cosmo Canyon crash

hellow everyone.. im new to this fprum but i hoped u ppl could help me with a problem.
i have that all to famous `cosmo canyon crash`.
and it would be verry nice if some1 could take my savefile and get me passed that point :o

tried some patch stuff but i dnt trust it at all...

Pls let me know soon!

p.s that leaves with a 2nd problem..
bcaus i dnt know where my savegames are...
when i search it @ start i get so see where the map is, but when i click on it, it says that the "link" (or something like that) is gone..

i do get to see them when i download a savefile though :S

a quick help would be nice!!

the download doest work.. get the same problem as with the savefile

and idd it should be moved.. srry :o guess i overlooked it

That glitch has been around since Win95, there has been no known cure but try re-installing windows..... what OS you operating?

the most simpel selution is if anyonw would know how i can get to my savefiles, or if some1 has a savefile for me

yes its a cracked version, i dnt have the cd's :o

Well the saves should be in in FFVII file

so start out going into my computer, Local disk C, Program Files (x86) if you've got windows 7, then just look for the FFVII folder

checked it 100x, the map isnt there!! :S

i can only see it when i download something :S

People never read the FAQ, do they?

Currently, my own copy of the game is free from the glitch, and I am willing to get anyone stuck at the Cosmo Canyon FMV past the glitchy point. You will miss out on a little of the dialogue during the cutscene and afterward, as I have to pick a party and get to the save point, but that is all. Just contact me with the save file, or attach it to a post here.

Oddly, I read a ton of the comments, yet, you are correct, I somehow missed that one. My apologies.

That is strange, though. The save files for FFVII are usually really easy to find, since they are probably the only files on your computer with the .ff7 extension. Hmm...

Well, enjoy the PS version. Even if the PC one does feature superior quality, it is useless if you can't play it.
