I tried going through the game naming everybody Sephiroth, but it just got waaaay too confusing. Last time I went with defaults, with the exception of Aeris as "my ass."

Mine are usually intense through most ff games. Especially ff8 I think my summons were like.. ifrit - hotdick.. shiva - piss lol..

Cloud - Moblin.
Barret - Garrett.
Tifa - Zelda.
Aeris - Ted Bundy.
Red XIII - I can't remember.
Cait Sith - MathWiz1.

I think that's as far as I've gotten in my changed name file. It's been a while since I've picked it up.

I named tifa zelda too in the game i just started. spelt it xelda tho

Gotta have Mr. T for Barret.
Or Bullseye for Aeries. Brilliant when she gets killed. Sephy comes from a great height, stabbs, and cloud goes "BUSSEYE!"
and someone should change Tifa's to Pammy (a nod to Ms Anderson )

Cloud - "jerk" or "asshole" or something similar (with a small letter), to hear Barret go "The planet's dyin', jerk!" If space allowed it I would call him "because of you" to make that line sound even better.

Barret - Mr. T. This one doesn't even need an explanation. Especially funny when a little girl calls him "Mr. [name]" in one scene, which leads to him being called "Mr. Mr. T" and him replying something like "Don't call me Mr.! It's Mr. T!"

Tifa - slut. Again with a small letter.

Aerith - Bullseye. This one's already been explained.

Red XIII - Nanaki. This one should be obvious.

I can't think of anything for anyone else.

I never change names. Once I changed Red XIII to simply 'Red' and was uncomfortable with it for the rest of the game. I'm neurotic like that.
