The only thing that bothers me more than sequelling is prequelling, which outright disgusts me. This of course isn't exclusive to Final Fantasy either.
Sequels are awesome! I love seeing all my faves again.
I don't mind an occasional sequel/prequel. As long as I still get a new IP once in awhile.
Smurfing sequels/prequels/and spin-offs are ruining the series! Give me FFXV already!
