I have a feeling the head captain is messing with us, that he knows exactly what is going on

I found it quite bizzare he ALREADY knew it was one of us, without any one of us investigating outside possobilies. Of course the captain would never try to lead us astray, I just think he's bat insane. What are the chances, given the complete lack of evidence, that one of our reapers or substitute reapers who have shown themselves nothing but loyal to us, is ACTUALLY going to turn on us?
