It's been beautiful riding weather for the motorcycle this past week or so. Anyone else stupid enough to ride?

I'm working on getting one of these, but it's probably still at least a few months off if it even happens. Seems a little more likely that it might.

    Mitsubishi Starion Turbo. Opinions?

The Lancia Stratos is one of my most favorite cars. Once of the most influential rally cars of all time, from the most successful manufacturer to compete in the WRC. What are some thoughts of the new concept? Do you think it does the old one justice?

So is that a maybe? Snowmobiles are fun too.

A customer might be interested in us building them a 500hp (yay!) Honda Civic (aaawwwww). Probably just wishful thinking anyway.

I'd love a sled but, you never know how much snow you're gonna have and stuff like that. If I were to get anything it'd be an 4 wheeler so I could use it all year-round.

The paint seems a little sketchy, but if some one wants a unique, fun car with all the hard work done for them, this one isn't a bad price. Tasteful engine swap, and seems to fit okay. You'd have to see it in person to make sure, but if I lived in California I might check it out.

I'm confused. Why wouldn't you want to buy with cash? I've easily talked people down several grand on cars just by being able to pay up front with cash. This one has been available for a while. Either there's something up with it, or it's just another victim of the slow car market. I've seen plenty of tuned cars like this around where I live that I know to be good, solid cars that people have sold for no where near what they had in them. That's the catch of tuning an older car like this. You'll never be able to sell it for what you invested in it. I bet he'd let it go for around 4k if you had cash. If it's a solid car, that's a killer deal.

Eh, back on the topic's subject for a sec:
An '02 GMC Sierra Regular Cab with the 4.3 V6. Metallic Pewter color. No power door locks/windows, cruise control, A/C, and 4 spd auto transmission.

And I learned a lot in the above posts in this thread...

    Off subject, but car related.

We just assembled an ECU for a customer's car so he can get the most out of his super-charged set up. I'm excited because I can make something similar for the Turbo II RX-7 and the 325is and have fun with them. Actually, I could make one for my motorcycle too. I don't plan to, but this hardware is pretty flexible in it's applications.

Anyone else on here trying to do some engine management for their vehicle on a budget needs to check these guys out. DIYAutoTune.com

My Miata already has an aftermarket MSpnp ECU by them. So do the race cars we campaign. So far, I'd stand by it.

Probably only NCG will find this interesting.

That's pretty cool. I should buy a car and start tuning that bitch up, and you can offer advice.

We're getting some long term customer projects out the door and once we rebuild the head in our race care, we'll probably have enough time and space to work on one of our long term projects.

We were planning on that 2nd gen rx-7 with a v-8 I mentioned previously. Like this, but red.

Then we remembered we had this sitting on a storage lift, and have been meaning to get it back on the road for years. It's a Blakely Bantam.

Either way, the project probably won't start until sometime in the summer. Just curious which car tickles people's fancy more. Sometimes, outside opinions are interesting to hear.

I drive a 2000 jaguar x type and have never crashed or gotten a ticket. I like to take tight turns without slowing down. This car could probably take a 120 degree turn at 90 miles an hour, but can be taken out by a fast moving bumble bee, and becomes difficult to drive at speeds over 70 miles an hour. at 75, a breeze will actually turn the car.
