Sporthocker
So I heard about this brand new craze called sporthocker or hockern or something. It's German, anyway.
Here's a video explaining it all.
When we're reduced to "extreme sitting" for a new sport, I wonder if we're really running out of ideas. Besides, I invented this about 10 years ago when I was too uncoordinated to sit down like a normal person.
Honestly though, I like the stool. I'd buy one of them for those times when you just need to sit.
The whole... trick aspect is kinda neat. Calling it a sport is a little overboard.

Like Bunny said, this looks kind of cool for the trick aspect, but I would feel like a mega-douche to be seen doing it. It's a chair! Why is neatly landing in a sitting position so gratifying? I do that every day at breakfast!

You can pretty much tell that any video on YouTube with its own little intro titles is going to be pretentious.
Those types of seat are actually very popular in continental Europe. Well, my experience of continental Europe is mercifully limited to France and Switzerland, but there you go.
Looks like one of the more fun ways to cause severe damage to your spinal column, as opposed to, say, being the only survivor of a brutal car accident. I'm all for it. You go, Germans! You go!
