The combatants were:

Ned Stark accompanied by Howland Reed, Lord Willam Dustin, Ethan Glover, Martyn Cassel, Theo Wull and Ser Mark Ryswell

Versus 3 members of the Kingsguard:

Ser Arthur Dayne, Ser Oswell Whent and Lord Commander Gerold Hightower

Now, if that match up sounds unfair to you because there's 7 in Ned's band and only 3 of the Kingsguard, you should know that only Ned Stark and Howland Reed walked away from that and they were both wounded.

im pretty sure that Tommen will grow a pair now (a Lannister pair to be exact) because he has alot of regret of not taking any action when his mother was imprisoned and shame-shame-shamed, and he wants his bride back
+ in the season trailer we could see Jamie with an army in front of the sept. so im sure trout will go down sooner or later
