p.s how does that [YOUTUBE] work here? it keeps saying theres an error
This is correct in the bookhe actually sees Cersei again for the first time in Baelor's Sept, like, weeping over Joffrey's dead body and then they bang on the church floor.
Ok, after watching all the theories and rewatching the wedding for a 4th time, I have come up with some very subtle hints that Lady Olenna shares with Tywin alluding to the plot she is hatching about Jofferys assassination.
"Your heart felt thank you is its own reward, I would imagine I'll be hearing it again before long."
Do you think she could be alluding to the fact that he should be thankful for removing a costly mistake that is Joffery from the throne?
Wars are expencive, the iron bank will have its due how they love to remind to everyone, almost as much as you lannisters with your debts.
Could she mean this as "You took Sansa and my Grandson, I'm going to takes yours as payment."
It's very subtle, but it's pure genius.
Yeah, Olenna is my guess (have not read the book). It would seem unlikely that she would sabotage the wedding she paid for but that's the genius of it. She sees Joffrey as a monster and figures with him dead they can just marry Margery to King Trommen. He's underage too so that would make Margery the Queen Regent. Olenna would make a pretty great Hand actually. She is one of the best characters of the whole series.
My other theory is Sansa since she has the longest list of motives of anyone. Not sure she has the cunning or the means, though.

Reaction videos! They are the best.
Althought the red wedding reactions were awesome.
I hope to see Jack Gleeson's acting future in some sweet, innocent, goodly-hearted gentleman role to mindsmurf the trout out of the masses.
This episode was all sorts of disturbing to me. I couldn't settle after witnessing the beginning with Ramsay. The hunt at the beginning especially, which I was a little confused at first - I didn't realize it was Ramsay and his wenches at first. And then I saw Theon running and I thought they were after him. I saw the girl running and I thought she was laughing or something while she ran, and then it became apparent that she was sobbing and I was so confused by it, but at that point it didn't matter because it was clear they were after her atleast, if not Theon as well. And then witnessing his interactions with Theon and just how utterly shattered Theon has become. He's a shadow of his old self, past the point of being broken. I haven't been fond of or cared about Theon at all up until this point, but it really put a knife in my heart. I suppose that's some good storytelling, though.
Hot damn Bran is getting bigger! Good lord, he'll be fully grown before the show is over.
Book spoiler and possible future episode spoiler about Shae Ehhhhh I'm not loving this manufactured tale with her. I loved the book because what's to come with the trial and Tywin was so goddamn shocking because it seemed like she loved him this whole time. I don't know why the show would force a reason into it, if they choose to follow the book with the rest of her behaviors. It was a damn good mindsmurf for me, and they should have let it be and let her betray him at court and after instead.
The other part of the episode that smurfing disturbed me was Joffrey's face as he was dying. That was smurfing mortifying. Between that, the little people humiliation, and the Ramsay bits, this episode has my stomach in an uncomfortable knot.
I am finding amusement in the theories flying around in this thread about who the culprit is.
Pretty good episode, imo. Better than the premiere, that's for damn sure. And:
The crowd went wild, and someone hollered out asking where the dragons were. Totally satisfying.
hahaha awesome. glad it went well!
Glad the power point went well!
I'm going to have to agree on the points your brought up. I felt bad for Theon while watching this episode, and Joffrey's death scene disturbed me a bit. Unfortunately, I think I've read that Jack Gleeson is done with acting after Game of Thrones. He wants to move on to other things. It's kind of a shame just because you can tell he has some serious acting skills.
I do kind of feel for Joffrey after thinking about him a bit since his death. Part of the problem is that he was simply way too young to be king. He's always kind of been a little trout from what I remember of the show and the little I've read in the books, but I've worked with a lot of kids that are the same age he's supposed to be who would probably be pretty similar if they were suddenly made a king in that kind of world. This is never more clear at the childish bullying he was doing to Tyrion just before his death. He was a spoiled, stuck up brat who felt invincible, like a lot of teenagers are. With this in mind, I do feel bad for him in a lot of ways, and his death wasn't something I really rejoiced over despite the terrible things he had done. I also kind of ... admire is probably the wrong word, but I found him interesting. He was a terrible human being, but he was pretty fearless even with regards to his mother and Tywin. He did what he wanted while the rest of the family kind of tiptoes around each other.
