I'm pretty sure their golden "crowns" refer to the fact that they all have golden hair since they're actually Lannisters.

Golden shroud possibly refers to the fact that they're all going to die before the series is over, and they will wear the yellow Baratheon shroud.

Decent first episode! Not groundbreaking, but pretty okay. I'm going to watch the rest as they air. For some reason, I could have sworn we were further along in the story than where everything is starting. It's been a while; I should have marathoned beforehand.

A decent setup episode. Man there are a lot of threads in this show. They got to Pod/Brienne, and I was like 'hey look more characters.'

Best scenes were Tyrion & Varys and Jon & Mance. I'm excited to see if and when Tyrion actually gets to Mareen. More of these splintered twosomes need to meet.

There's also the thing where Joffrey wore a crown, Now Tommen does, and it's not unlikely that Marcella will as well. It definitely was part of the whole incest thing, but it may coincidentally come to have 2 meanings.

well ofcourse they will because that is how tv shows work..
just like with the walking dead they showed a teaser or Morgan at the first episode.. only to reveal him at the very last episode of the season..
