The bastard names aren't so much connected to the families as to the regions they govern (for example, Bolton's bastard is still Ramsay Snow), but yeah. I like the bastard names.

He's Ramsay Bolton now
I was just about to say this.
Robert Baratheon had a ton of kids with different bastard names, because they were born in different regions. It all depends on where the bastard was born. So in theory, a Lannister bastard could still be Snow if it was born in the North. But a bastard only has one of those names if their noble parent acknowledges them.
Jon Snow wasn't born in the north, wasn't he?

Holy trout, what an intense scene with the battle between Ramsay and Yara. Man, I keep feeling worse and worse for Theon. I disliked him quite during the first few seasons, but I feel so awful for him now. I can't imagine what it must be like to have fear cripple you so badly that when a rescue arrives you do not accept it.
The Danaerys scene seemed rather pointless. But I guess it opened up a segue for her to be spoken about in the council. I get the feeling that the dude begging for his father's bones has a trick up his sleeve somehow.
I love Varys more every time I see him. Same for Oberyn. I wasn't terribly fond of him at first, but I've grown to quite like him. His pure shock at Varys admitting to be asexual was hilarious xD
With the business with Shae being supposedly sent off, I almost didn't think they were going to bring her back. It was hard to watch her betray Tyrion so astoundingly. I loved them together before I knew what a backstabber she is
I wanted to see the trial by combat goddamnit that's what I've been waiting for all this time ;-;
What a lovely violin solo after such a dark scene! Went more or less how I saw it going as I read this particular part. I wasn't able to fully immerse myself in the scene due to things going on around me while I was watching, so I feel a bit robbed on that account. Still, all of the anger and frustration and hate was clear to see upon Tyrion's visage as he delivered his "wish I had done it" speech.
A++++
