I disagree. Games with as many thrills in it as MGS4 are rare. Storywise it has it's good and bad moments, but I enjoyed every single second of this final entry.
MGS3 was the best MGS, without question, because you can fight off the ghost of a cosmonaut with a fork. The end. (unintentional word choice there, but that was a great boss battle too now that I think of it)
I also agree that MGS3 was the best one. Had the best boss battles. Plus capturing and eating creatures was a lot of fun. I thought the subtitle was a code name or something but no, you literally ate snakes.

The best part about Snake being in Smash Bros. Brawl was that you could play with this as the background music. It made it even more wonderful.
Finished MGS3 a few weeks ago, although I didn't complete a lot of the boss fights alone. The boss fights in this series really annoy me, but at least the bosses in this game actually die when you defeat them.
Anyway, good game! I think I like MGS2 better, but MGS3 is quite special!
