Went out to dinner with family and friends to celebrate my Birthday:
One of our many courses through the night.
My niece, Summer such a happy child ^^
Fi(ona) Jess and my brother in law's hands xD
Seb, my brothers soon to be step son.
My other niece, Sky, one of my favourite pics of the night ^^
a piece of vegetable... I think, carved into that, thought it was awesome, came with the duck (which if I had paused to take a pic of before we ate the duck there wouldn't be any of it left xD)
Me n my niece Summer, everyone was saying they should get a picture of me with my new cam, so I included her to ofset my ugly mug lol.
(aunty) Amber (my sister) and Summer, all tuckered out at the end of the evening
Adam (my brother), looking like a right tit xD
Zoe, my brother Fiancé and mother to Seb, Sky and Summer. She is Crazy Insane xD
Rob, Jess, Fi, Mum, Adam, me, Seb, Zoe, Amber, Sky and Summer. I myself was also very tired at the end of the evening, having spent the day doing stuff (Swimming, Ice skating and Bowling).
That looks like fun. Can you guys do my birthday too?![]()
I love when kids get tired. They make less noise and look adorable![]()
"We're not the same, dear, as we used to be.
The seasons have changed and so have we.
There was little we could say, and even less we could do
To stop the ice from getting thinner under me and you."
That dog is awesome. I already like her.![]()
Oh. My. God. That dog is so cute. I want her. Can I have her? <3
Yuna looks just like my friends' dog Molly. Those little furballs are smurfing adorable.
What kind of dog is that? I think I'll try talking my lady friend into letting me get one.
So who wants to sign my cast?

Haha, why didn't you put Dak?
Aaaaaaand, I choose choco.
So despite my better judgement I listened to Agrias and took her to an abandoned house - she initially made an off-the-wall comment that she wanted to stroll around a graveyard. Thinking that a graveyard was too boring, I retorted that I could take her to an abandoned house instead. She was more than willing, which caused me to exploded into a pile of red flags.
I tried unsuccessfully to persuade her to not go. I tried being incredibly creepy and asking all the girls I knew whether they would ever accompany me to an abandoned building the second time we hung out (they all said yes...the bleeping lunatics. I should start serial murdering since apparently I'm trustworthy to females). I tried telling her IN ADVANCE that she was going to die there. I um...God look, I'm PG for heaven's sake. Would YOU go to an abandoned building with me; by yourself?
The night before I went to the site and explored it, all by myself. This is NOT a good idea and after a while I got freaked out (this is a bad idea. I cannot stress this enough. It's as dumb as swimming in a lake by yourself at night) and left. i did figure out how to get in the building though.
The next night, we went out and had a good time, and I almost killed Alice on the way home. After 3 am I parked my car somewhere I won't reveal and we walked toward the place, talking about gibberish and safety rules.
Here's a daytime picture of the location. Protip - always check out the site prior to going. I had never been here before so I wasn't about to walk into a bunch of squatters with Alisu in tow. Also animals. Bad news. And corpses. You don't like corpses cuz then you have to call the cops and explain why you were there, and why you left evidence all over it.
I mean...moving on - pictar!

You can see the gate in the middle. It's spooky. It opens on the right hand side and when it's 3am you see nothing but darkness and a building off in the distance. The path was overgrown but due to heavy traffic (AT AN ABANDONED SITE WTF IS THIS WHY ARE WE HERE) even though it wasn't paved we were able to walk through with minimal issue. I wore my winter work boots and Alice wore her winter boots. I also gave her a pair of gloves to wear in case of dirtiness which is guaranteed. We walked around the house you can see in the picture, around to a barn in the side. The barn was overgrown - the wall on the right side had broken down and I didn't want to walk into shrubbery, so we moved onto the house.
The house itself is a two story building with a large ground floor. The garage is off to the right and the bedrooms are to the left. here check it out:

The front door is a double door padlocked down the middle. All of the glass on the sides have been broken, and the glass covering the living room has been broken down. My brother, having had visited prior, had told me to go around the back (no pics..ugh) but instead I got up to the entrance where Alice would not follow. She started babbling nonsense about spirits and devil's midnight, and seeing an argument I would not win, I just left.
The next day I took her back and this is why we have pictures with light everywhere. However just before entering, we noticed that the fence was chained up. We did not chain up the fence when we left last night....less than 8 hours ago. SOMEBODY WAS THERE AFTER US. I wanted to go in, so thinking that climbing a fence would be difficult for her, I pulled at the chain to see how much slack it would give. It came right out - somebody came by, closed the fence, then just tossed the chains around the fencing to make it look like it was locked...somebody was there after us.
The living room was mostly empty, save a few toys scattered around. I found a heathcliff book in the main foyer but Alisu didn't want it (i dunno why - heathcliff is awesome). The school is an ESL school so what looked like children's toys and books were probably learning aids. As we moved past the living room we saw more and more garbage and other nicknacks. Here - check out a hobo's bed:

The kitchen was gutted. All of the shelving were empty (phew - you do not want to open a shelf and see month(s) old pickles. NO DO NOT WANT AGAIN) and the last few vagrants had managed to shift one of the kitchen counters ajar. I wish I took more pictures.
The ceiling was falling apart in various places, making us a little wary of going upstairs, though I bet it was safe. Here's the last pic I have (Alice did you take a picture of the back door?) - it's of the ground floor, taken from the basement. Notice that the building is still structurally sound.
[naughty word on the wall]

Sadly (or rather, fortunately) the basement was not flooded and the house is in pretty good condition considering. And it's not the least bit scary during the day.
But...definitely one of the more interesting times I've been on. Everybody should do this!
