Why would we expect you to think that, Chocolate Agent Lynx? Your loyalty to a rival faction more interested in animal cruelty than serving justice would lead us to the obvious conclusion that your reasoning prowess is distorted.

As for the lack of activity in this thread, the presence of the JLI is needed in much more than one mere thread or one mere forum. The JLI seeks to maintain peace across all forums, and our duties to post elsewhere prevent us from congregating in a single thread trying to perpetuate some kind of massive continuous party celebrating how awesome we think we are, as may be the case for other factions.

Also, it should be noted that JLI headquarters is currently going through some renovations after a mysterious explosion crippled some of our defensive systems and resulted in the disappearance of our beloved night watchman, Mr. Completely Harmless Man, along with several pieces of weaponry confiscated from the Brotherhood of Elitists over the years.

The bonds of love and affection are what grows out of those hand-sized balls when a Pokémon is released into combat. And while it may seem cruel by some the means a Trainer must take to strengthen him or herself and their Pokémon, heroes are necessary should disaster and misfortune strike. Having watched Jirachi Wish Maker, Destiny Deoxys, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, The Rise of Darkrai, Giratina and the Sky Warrior, Arceus and the Jewel of Life, Zoroark: Master of Illusions, Victini and the Black Hero: Zekrom & Victini and the White Hero: Reshiram, Mewtwo Returns and The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon, I can positively assure you someone here needs to rise up and protect the world. I know you superheroes like to lay claim here, but Pokémon Trainers are real people who have learned to solve their own problems without "super" powers.

These callouses on our fists are not borne from the continuous handling of balls, but are instead the result of countless battles where we put our own lives on the line to take on real threats to the forums.
