After two elections without any newbies being represented, it's time for a comeback. In these two years, EoFF has become less and less popular with newbies, and I think that this just goes to show how poorly the winning parties have been in this time. The Newbie Party is here to represent the next generation of these wonderful forums. To lead to a better future. To help bring in the newbies, to help keep them posting, to help integrate them into the community. The other parties may be out there to help the non-existent droids of EoFF and, for some reason, fisting, but that's not on our agenda. Our agenda is EoFF, our agenda is the future, our agenda is making this place better.

Of course, it goes without saying that not-so-newbies can also join me in this fight for EoFF's leadership - we recognise that older members with good intentions towards newer members are what will help those newbies enjoy this place. They can offer guidance and leadership when a new member is confused or wishes to find out something, or... whatever. Anyway.

There's more to this party than simply newbies, it must be said. We like other things, too. Chats, hats and stats is something that the winning #eoff party (who were effectively a renamed version of The Newbie Party in 2005) once stood for and I support all of these things. I also support cheesecake, members sometimes referred to as underrated and unrecognised, and finally, we support the revamp of the frontsite of EoFF. Baloki and Rantzien in particular are held in high regard when it comes to their continuing efforts in this area.

Finally, as party leader, should I win, I pledge to sing any pro-newbie song you guys can come up with. Regardless of how silly it might be, so long as it is pro-newbie and in good taste, I will absolutely sing it. I will also not only do what I can to bring in new members but also attempt to bring back older newbie-friendly members.

I may be taking this a little too serious for some people's tastes, but I can't help it. I'm just serious about newbies. I'm serious about elections. I'm serious about EoFF elections. I'm serious about Eyes on Final Fantasy. Super serious.

None of them were super-serious about being pro-Newbie, none of them carried the flag. I suppose the closest would be the Avalanche Party. But overall, no Newbie Party or cleverly disguised Newbie Party was a disappointment to say the least. We're two-time winners, dammit!

What a noble cause! As an older newbie that return or returned or whatsoever, I salute you!

Let me join! I think this is the first time I ever join a party, since I was never here when election is on! For the newbie and those that like newbies!!

Awesome! Thanks to Melissaur who has also signed up (although not yet posted, I'll bug her about that), we now have the required four members... although obviously I'm hoping for more.

Does anyone want to look into ideas for our requirements for reaching the next phase? We need a Party Motto and a Campaign Slogan. And if anyone has the time to make up a sig or two...
