Code-Switching!

Often when talking to my classmates, we jump back and forth between English and Japanese. Usually it's just us being idiots, but sometimes there is a phrase that doesn't exist in one language that is better expressed in the other. Shikata ga nai for example.

PG and I manage to hold a conversation in English, French and Japanese. It works for us. It makes just as much sense as any conversation with Peeg can make! :kaoyatta:

Yes. I constantly mix Italian, English and Albanian with my friends. It's fun, but they're mainly inside Albanian jokes nobody will get .

YES Inside jokes. That's another reason why I do it.

I mix Spanish and sometimes Chinese into my conversations if the people I'm with know the language. Sometimes I do it even if they don't and joke that I'm making fun of them when I really said something like do you want to go get some tea or something random.

Sometimes I seamlessly switch between English and bogan and nobody can tell. That's because they're all bogans and probably understand nothing.

I was walking next to a guy who was speaking very carefully enunciated weeaboo Japanese on a cellular phone.

I say it was weeaboo because my white ears were, while not able to understand it, completely able to parse the sounds.

Oh okay. I can't really knock anyone who's sincerely trying but struggling. I usually mock the ones that think they're awesome but really couldn't speak their way out of a paper bag.

I don't really switch intentionally but i'll mix up my german and swedish when I try to think of either on the spot.
