The daffodils are beautiful. It's March, now, and they're in full bloom. I know that there'd be a smile flooding across your face if you could see them. And that is making me smile, right now, the thought that you're up there, somewhere, seeing what I'm seeing.
It's been a long two years. We're still here, at Eyes on. Less and less people are posting here regularly, but there's still a decent number of us old faithfuls who just don't know when to walk away. So much has happened! Knightings, bannings, the rise and fall of disgraced former admin Hypocongestive Cactuar. You would never have let him on staff, would you? I wonder if you saw his knighting thread. You must've wanted to come down here and smack us all so hard!
Look at me, I'm waffling. I should get to the point of this. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. If I had known things had turned out the way when Bunny made that thread. None of us knew his true nature, none of us did. I relive this moment in my dreams, the day that thread was made. How I wish I'd posted "Look, the man is a creep and is going to kill you and then eat you someday", and then it would all be okay. Just one post on a Final Fantasy forum. That's all it would've took to have stopped that fateful chain of events, to have prevented him destroying something beautiful. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.
You may have left this Earth in theory, but you're not truly gone. For as long as we brave EoFFers live, so do you, in our hearts and in our memories. And I like that thought. It dulls the pain, I guess.
Anyway, I hope you have found the peace you deserve. We're all still thinking of you, and miss you so much. I'll write to you again soon, when I am able.
