Need advice on farming early game, to endgame
Ive just touched the surface of ff13 so far, Just unlocked the paradigm feature.
Like most rpg's there are areas that are great for farming xp, currency, and items.
if anyone could give me a nice list, or help me make one of all the great farming area's early game to end game, without too much spoilage, you could just use area names and fill it in with info like monster names etc.
I'm trying to gather information that will help me better my in game party members and their pockets.
on another note, i don't see why so many people say this game is horrible. yes its missing some of the familier points that were in previous final fantasy games. but by itself it is its own beast of gaming perportions.
don't think of this game as a failure, think of it as something for the final fantasy game devs to learn from, so they can make great games.

Grinding will be pretty pointless until you're about 2/3 into the game. I only really spend time grinding in Taejin's Tower, and that's pretty late in the game. You may have noticed that the Crystarium comes to a halt pretty quickly. As more of it is unlocked, CP costs increase by a lot. Once you've reached the current cap, you can spend hours grinding and it'll only be enough to move a space or two in the next stage. If you just defeat every enemy you see, you should always be very close to the cap of all of your roles before you unlock the next stage.
Enemies like PSICOM soldiers ten to drop things like credit chips or incentive chips, so they might be worth your time to grind a little bit. You'll only really need gil for weapon and accessory upgrading, and that's not really necessary until towards the end of the game. Also, weapon status is taken into effect when calculating how many stars you get!
