I can't wait until the days where the bots have evolved to the point that they are indistinguishable from regular members. Then maybe we can finally coexist in peace.

Just because he has 1 very generic thread and 1 (and only 1) very generic post doesn't make him a bot.... oh wait

You have a point. It took us many posts to discover Roogle.

I lied earlier. Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri is my favorite game. Also, it's now $6, so no one has an excuse not to own it.

    Final Fantasy VII.

It's just pure magic to me, it's hard to explain. It was the perfect game at the perfect time, I guess..

Golden Sun 1/2. I'm scared to play the DS game in case it ruins it

Someone who is man enough to admit it, awesome.

Also I have changed my mind, I now decree that The Board Game online is my new favourite game:

I highly recommend the ds version, it fits in perfectly and I enjoyed just as much (if not a bit more) than the original and second gs installment. The music still kicks ass, the combats still in depth as always and the story is still quite good.

i love story's with a good (personal) story.
When i play a game i need to like the character of else i wont enjoy playing it.
got Darksiders a year (of two) ago from a friend, but i didnt like the character so i played it like 10 min haha..

what i also cant stand is anonymous characters. Mostly prefering to War-games. in these games u dont really have a name or face. ur soldier nr.16.. ... ..

    Games i really enjoy:
Assassins creed, though i have to admit i wont play it twice.. mostly becaus of the length.

    Uncharted .. .. cant get enough ^^

Killzone, 1 of the verry view 1st person shooters i like. but than again the character is not anonymous and it has a good (personal) story.

    FF7 & FF13

that would be the top of the top for me ^^

I can't quite second this. It fits in well, but not "perfectly". There are a bunch of new locations that arrive out of nowhere (Angara is far more crowded than it was in the original games). It works, but it is really jarring to walk across what is supposedly the same continent and seeing so much more there. It is understandable why they did this, to expand upon the area and flesh out the world, and it works, but it does leave you thinking "where exactly was this huge ancient ruin or this town when Isaac was here", especially since most of these places supposedly did exist during that trip (though they were smaller and less developed, as things have begun to grow a lot since Alchemy was restored).

Also, I think the game fails a bit at the puzzles, especially early on. You are almost walked through several of them, with the game going "ooh, I think we should move these blocks and fit them into this place, can you do that?" way too often. It isn't until about 1/3rd of the way through or so that the puzzles pick up to the sort of free figuring that I was used to with GS and LA.

On the other hand, some things were great. The overhaul to the dungeon Psynergy system is gorgeous, the music is brilliant, most of the character development is spot on, the combat UI is improved... Best of all was the update to the superbosses. The easier ones got replaced, while the harder (and more fun) battles like the Star Magician return in all their glory (and have even been buffed a bit).

Overall, a solid game. It doesn't "ruin" the series by any means, and it does give you some welcome insights into what happens next. But, in some ways, it is not quite as good as the original.
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

I can surely agree with the puzzle issue. It just walks you through so much which I'm not a fan of. Personally even with the problems it has the overhaul it received gives it a solid place in the series. But hey, that's just me and to each their own.
It's obvious that it's not as good as the original though, nostalgia goggles or no that game is fantastic. Ironically I enjoyed it more than my play-through of Chrono Trigger, at least in terms of combat.
