By the way, I couldn't find that damn kinship clerk anywhere. Some dude said every major city has one. I'll search through Thorin's Hall more carefully, but I didn't see him the first go through.

We're making an EoFF guild for anyone interested in playing. Jiro is an armorsmith and I'm a weaponsmith so we'll be able to get you properly outfitted early on in the game should you join us.

It's probably still possible to get a buddy pass off someone and then all you need is a CD to install it, which I'm sure you can download and burn to disk. I don't think there would be any real problem with that when you consider that in order to use a buddy pass, you're supposed to simply get a disk off the peson who gives you the buddy pass so you can get it installed. So yeah, it's possible!

Don't know if I still have a buddy pass, but I might... I don't remember giving it out to anyone. Danielle probably still has hers, too. Hmm...

I heard XIV sucked and that's why it's free.

I'd be willing to try it, but I have a sneaking suspicion this computer would itself if I tried to play it. It was a miracle I could get LotRO to work, and even then I get kicked off the server every couple hours.

That's the plan Sony has, yes. I imagine it will be P2P once it launches on PS3, which is still without a launch date at the moment.
