So is Die Hard.
So is Die Hard.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
Die Hard is cool, but not T2 cool.
So on the coolness scale, where does "The Professional" fall in place? I love that movie. jus' sayin'.
The best bit of this thread is seeing Bolton 2-1 Arsenal.
I don't care, he beats the out of a guy with a rolled up magazine AND a pen.
I just don't get why anyone is comparing giant robots that turn into cars to vaguely realistic supposed "action" movies. It's like saying that True Lies should have had serious acting and less comedy. I mean, what? They're not even close to the same. I would say that Transformers is an action-comedy while Bourne/TDK are action-drama. One is there for fun, the other is for serious. Perhaps some people here are just too serious about their movies to be prepared for fun.
Having said that, Michael Bay is not an actor that I would want to direct action-drama movies. Pearl Harbour? Urgh. Likewise, though, I don't believe that the directors of the great movies of our time would have done that much better with Transformers. Transformers aren't about insane twists and awesome themes and Oscar-winning actors. It's about big explosions, awesome special effects and hotties.
Waiting for Shiny to reply to thread.
