Say what you will about the lack of plot in a Michael Bay film, but the man knows how to direct actions scenes. That's a talent sorely lacking in Hollywood right now, replaced by shaking cameras and general incoherence.
Not really. Action films are easy to market. They pretty much direct and produce themselves. Especially if they are action franchises starring bankable people like Arnold.
Well, I think that's his point. They are so easy to make that anyone with a shaky hand can make an action film, while well-directed action sequences are harder to come by.
