Maybe meaning - Tifa was hiding the fact that Cloud shouldn't be experiencing those memories that way.That it was someone else's memories.

Hmmm... it still seems pretty vague to me. It's a little confusing as well as the riddle clearly relates to both the answer and Tifa. There isn't a clear distinction between either.

Which "you" is this one? Tifa or the answer?. If we assume that it's Tifa then I suppose the main thing she was hiding was the truth about Cloud's past.

This is the line that reminds me most of the Lifestream event but we already know it isn't that. Cloud is pretty much lost in memories the whole game.
but still so close... close to what? Close to Tifa? Close to the truth? Close to finding himself? There doesn't seem to be any concrete clues that allude to anything in particular. It's probably just something obvious that I'm missing though which is annoying!
