I'm trying to think of who would "write down your exploits". "Still in the middle" also makes me think either geographically or chronologically, ie it's in the center of the map or somewhere on the second disk.

"Still in the middle" might relate to being in between two sides - not just chronologically or geographically.

"Write down your exploits" makes me think of a written material - such as a report or a journal.

The last two lines are not related to the game in any way... just to the answer (ie. name).

The first six lines though are all directly related to the game.
