So today a friend and I were at his house talking about how silly pop music was when we were in middle/high school and I remember us talking a lot about how insanely popular Nsync and Backstreet Boys were, and us shamefully admitting there was at least a couple songs by each we found catchy, when, to our utter dismay, his 14 year old sister walked by and said:

"Who's The BackStreet Boys?"



It was at this moment that I came to a shocking revelation; I graduated high school eight years ago. Eight freaking years ago.

So yeah, what happened lately that made you feel old?

There are kids who started high school when I was finishing that now have beards. Mind you that's a 5 year age difference here.

Playing Pokemon makes me feel old. I was in Gamestop talking with the people there and trading with the IR thing. And I was like, "This is way easier than messing with the link cables." And we all laughed and this little kid came up to us and asked what a link cable was and then the laughter stopped and we all sighed.
