The hidden cave ( THE CAVE THAT WAS NEVER FINISHED)
Did anyone see the hidden cave in the area right after the ancient forest where the Water Ring is found???? In the bottom right part of the screen there is a vine leading to an OBVIOUS cave.. A cave never finished? An easter egg? What's the deal here? I know is not accessible and probably a lost cause, but hey what else are we going to talk about in FF7 that hasn't all ready been discussed?

From what I remember, that cave was a part of a sidequest that was never finished.
Jiro got it in one, I cant remember what the quest was going to be about......
i think it was also related to how Square was wanting to add another character...
maybe their ultimate weapon was going to be there?

It's just how the particular backdrop came prerendered. It's the only backdrop in the game that wasn't specially designed for FF7.
