It seems to me he's just whining for the sake of whining. I can understand that an adoption joke might offend some people, but that's when you turn the game off, not call up the news station.
Well, the point of the adoption jokes were to be offensive. So good job, fictional villain.

This is where I'd normally say something about video games being used as a scapegoat but this time for something this stupid don't reckon I'll bother!

Anyway, the clip in that news story reveals major spoilers about the game.
The spoiler is that there are no portals, only HATS.

I just saw a follow-up to this. I seriously don't understand why this made the news. The guy's not even flipping out; he's just kinda upset.
The news caster went into how much crap she's getting from gamers, and read a couple of emails like "Why are you even covering this? What are you hoping to accomplish here?" I was amused.
I would very much enjoy a link to that.
