grendel disc 1

ive been trying to find the grendel in disc 1 so i can get the dragon fin for zells 2nd weapon except ive been running around the timber forests (where ive read they show up) but all i find are wendigos and ochus. where can i find this guy so i can that dragon fin????

These are (apparently) the areas in Galbadia where you can run into them:

• Shenand Hills
• Winhill Bluffs
• Humphrey Archipelago
• Lallapalooza Canyon
• Monterosa Plateau

Not sure how many of them you can get to that early but hopefully it will help. Also from personal experience I think you can fight them on the grass in the dusky part of Galbadia near Deling City.

The place where you partake in Laguna's 2nd Dream sequence,
(The Forest that leads to Galbadia Garden)

Run close to the Cliffs on the left side in the Forest,
Grendels drop Dragon Fangs too. ^.^

If they annoy you, Zombie the fools then revive them,
This works for T-Rexuars too (20% Chance).
