MLP:FiM Megathread: Does anyone even watch this show anymore edition

I think Twilight referred to them as "my little ponies" at some point in the first season.

Yes she did, in the episode that introduced me to the series (wow, it's already nostalagia to me...) I guess that could count, but I mean if you had make a quick sentance like "You can't go on your own, you're just children." how would it be said? Saying a paraphrase of the shows title (totally the reason they made Twilight say it) would sound odd. Thanks for answering though - I want to get the dialogue right for a project I am working on.

In other news, I saw Sleepless in Ponyville tonight, and I loved it! Highlights were; Scootaloo finally getting and episode, Rainbow Dash behaving the way I expect her to, after all the development she had last season, previous gens being refferenced again (keep it up, writers!), and something that I've been waiting to happen finally happening!

The latest episodes sure are catering to fan demand.

Before the last two episodes, I found season 3 to be okay, but now I'm finding it awesome.

No need to fear - I still love the show and I still did while I was pointing out what I considered flaws of the current series earlier.

Also, did Sleepless in Ponyville raise my spirits? Hell, yes! Not only did Dashie go back to acting the way I expect her to after all her development in season 2 (the previous episodes had her revert back into Dragonshy territory, which is in consistant anyway.), but also a realationship/friendship between two ponies that I have wanted to exist since forever has finally happened.

Saving myself for Sunday as always with the new episode. But two Dash episodes in a row? Hopefully this one will also put her in her better developed "confident but nice" light, in which case... two GOOD ones in a row, oh mannnn

First off; epic "awwwwwwwwwwww" at those images. ^_^

Secondly I also hope that we get some good Dashie development in this episode. Like I keep saying she wasn't really acting "correctly" in my eyes this season - Sleepless in Ponyville being an example as to how she should act based on her current stage of development in my opinion. The last time she got two episode in a row, she was accused of being an overused pony - though that may have been because a lot of people hated one of those episodes (even though I loved it).

Finaly: If anyone's interested I have a strong feeling that if it's the academy episode next then this episode may decide for me all for one and one for all, on whether my fanseries is going to be the future of FIM or an alternative future (though I guess as it's fanon and not canon, it's already an alternative future?) Hope people don't mind me mentioning that. EDIT: Saw the episode, looks like my fanseries can still fit into the timeline - for now.

Busy day for Ashleigh Ball, basically voicing everyone there. Caught her channelling AJ a little bit when she was saying something like "y'sure?" to spinning the spinny thing to max speed :P

You know, I came into this thread from the Lounge at first thinking it was about the British Bulldog, and am relieved to know nothing actually happened to him, and that this is just the Pony thread.

I am however furious at however the smurf changed it to this and worried me for no god damn reason!

Edit: And to top it all off, apperently I was thinking of the entirely wrong wrestler anyway, so now not only am I remeinded of British Bulldog, but I was worried about

One of my favorite wrestling matches of all time is the British Bulldog versus Bret Hart for the Intercontinental Championship. Some great technical wrestling.

EDIT: And now searching wiki I find that the Bulldog died in 2002. RIP man. One of the great IC champions of that era.

I kind of feel bad for one of my favorite matches being Undertaker Vs. Mankind, not because of that match itself, but because of how much it smurfed up Mick Foley.
