I see where you're coming from, Yearg, and they probably could have made the episode's moral better. Personally I thought there were other eps that had even "iffier" morals. Like the "It's okay to take Native American lands because we'll give them presents" one, or the "Whining is a girl's best self-defense" one. Ultimately, though, that's just me being nitpicky if I wanted to and I still love all the eps because I don't take ponies terribly seriously
On a totally different topic, does anyone notice how many awesome music quotes show up in the show? I love trying to catch them. Here's one my wife caught last night. It's perfectly fitting to put a bit of "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun" in the bit with Fluttershy at the fashion show.
