Also, I love the episode ("Luna Eclipsed", that is) and got the storyline of the episode, but why did the mane six not remember Luna being good now, or was the whole thing an act to make it scarier or something (it was their version of Halloween) That's the impression I came up with the first time I watched it, mostly after Pinkie saying something about it being fun to be scared (and she was the one who was "warning" everyone most of the time) but most ponies seemed genuinly scared, so I'm confused...

I think it was mostly just Fluttershy who was legitimately scared because she's scared of everything. The others were probably just being trepidatious. I mean, it's been traditional to be cared of Nightmare Moon even though people assumed it was just a pony story. The mane 6 certainly know better and being surrounded with the holiday and it's lore probably doesn't make the whole situation comfortable.

Of course, that's my "justifying it" answer, but it's probably more likely that, like Owloysius, many of the reactions are to move the episode forward. Even Pinkie, who obviously knows better and just wants to be scared, did it up a little too much in the alley when TS nabbed her and she was confronted by NM.

We smurfed up and turned our back to one of the largest subcultures in 4chan's history. This was not out of malice, but ignorance, and responding to general upset from the rest of the community when pony threads began to overwhelm their respective homes. Ponies haven't had a real home outside of /b/ and /co/ until today.

So we're trying to make this right, and give the ponies the home they've deserved from day one. I honestly have no idea what to do with this board and will be relying on you all to set the culture and help come up with its rules and provide suggestions for janitors. I think a lot of you are tripfriends, so hopefully one stands out that would make a good one.

I would ask that you try to centralize all pony related threads here in /mlp/, and direct fellow ponies from /b/, /co/ and others to this board.

I don't know why my Rarity score is so high! I think it sort of takes some "how much do you care about doing a good job" questions and applies it to her, even if for example I don't give a wooden nickel about my appearance.

Today's ep fell flat for me. I guess I sort of liked the music, but the pacing felt horrible. As much as I like Pinkie, it was just her hammering at the problem almost to the point of annoyance.
