MLP:FiM Megathread: Does anyone even watch this show anymore edition

Overused meme is overused.

Also, is it just me, or are there some comments on YouTube that seem to be from people who don't like FIM (which is understandable) or at least people who don't want it to be the only MLP generation to be recognised (which it's not, and I agree with the others being recognised), but portray a lack of knowledge of the classic generations?

What I mean is (because try as I might, I can't think of a coherent way to word the above at all) they try to call people out for only liking Friendship is Magic (which they simply guess), but make errors themselves.

Examples include; a response to a comment in a My­ Lit­tle Po­ny Tales episode saying it seemed strange that they didn't call the dragon Spike this time by saying "Because this was made before Friendship is Magic" - even though there have been Spikes before Friendship is Magic and anyone who's even glanced at the old versions would know that. Another was on a a G1 episode - I think it was something like Cloud Castle Either way, it contains a pegasus named Twilight - as you can imagine someone left a comment saying that it looked strange that Twilight wasn't a unicorn, and once again someone replied by saying that "This is not Friendship is Magic". However, in the very first episode of G1 there is a unicorn Twilight (where do you think the FIM Twilight came from?) so that commenter could have easily have been referring to that one.

Sorry if this doesn't make any sense I'm not really articulating today...
