Allergies!

My girlfriend is allergic to penicillin. Finding that out was... interesting.

It made my entire face puff up and look awful. At least, that's how I remember it, it was about twenty years ago :o

Having allergies really sucks. Even during fall and winter I always have itchy eyes and a stuffy nose.

Tried all types of medicine for it. Regular allergy pills, like the ones you find at Walgreens, just knock me out. Claritin makes my nose bleed. Zyrtec? Ha. Might as well just take an aspirin; it has the same effect.

Only things I haven't tried yet are Allegra and allergy shots, but I'm thinking it'll be the same result.

I feel your pain; Zyrtec seems to be less and less helpful for me as time goes on, and yeah, something like Benedryl puts me right to sleep as well, which I learned the hard way when I tried taking some during a particularly bad episode at work once... (fun fact I discovered later: Benedryl and Tylenol PM share the exact same ingredient.)

I'd love to look into allergy shots at some point but they're expensive! :x
