    When I was younger I used to think there were secret tricks that made downloads faster, like clicking the loading bar or status bar really really fast.

    when the download accelerators were first invented I think I might've still used dial-up, so I may have possibly tried to download faster by loading (overloading) my phone line with tandem connections.
