Hey man, I don't choose the name, I choose the game. I choose FFVII. If the name of a gang was FFII Warriors it would sound awesome because let's face it, FFII isn't very good. FFVIII on the other hand, man, it may as well be FFVII Overlords. But it's not the fault of the name 'Warrior', it's just that FFVII is so good that I feel it's too good for such a name.
