Depends on what kind of break up, I guess, but for me and the rather emotional breakup I had with an ex, it probably wasn't the best idea. I don't regret it but I wouldn't do it again, let's put it that way. You live, you learn. I imagine it would be much more helpful for those who have mutual breakups and both have a good understanding with each other over what the sex is for.
