Trying out some realism (Final Fantasy style ;D)

So I started on some realism sketches (from references).
So far I have only done two, let me know what ya think!
First try was with Tifa, Cid was my second ^^

Looking very good. Reminds me of my own stuff, since I do pretty much the same kind of style. Though, I do have to admit, your work is more refined and less sketchy. I do like how you managed to do Cid's hair perfectly.

I'll just go ahead and ditto everything else mentioned so far. Your shading and texture creation is awesome. Especially on Tifa's clothes on Cid's hair and the wrap around his spear are really well done.

Your talent is FAR beyond anything I can do, but if you want constructive criticism, something about Tifa's eyes seem almost dead. Or very evil. Getting some more depth from the eyes might send her picture over the top.

Cid's right hand looks great. It's so hard to make hands in that pose look good. The rest is good too, but that part drew my attention since I always have trouble with it myself.
