After so many years, still a noob.

I did not know I could stand on Agro. I did not know I could jump on and hitch a ride on eagles flying past whilst riding Agro. I did not know I could hold on to fish. Yes, after 5 playthroughs in 4 years of Shadow of the Colossus, I had no clue of these things.

Next. FFX. Two collector save files of 100+ hours. Five playthroughs in total. While crafting ultimate armour, why did I go to Omega Ruins to randomly encounter Machea I could bribe instead of just fighting one at the Monster Arena? I don't know. After 6-7 years of FFX, I was still a noob.

So confess! What were/are you oblivious to in the games you play or have played for years?

My very first time playing Fallout 3 I played over halfway through without realising what the VATS did and that I could repair my stuff myself not just pay to have it doen

I am a noob at all FPS games. I played Counter-Strike almost daily with my high school friends for a period of about three years and I'm awful at it.

I'm also a noob at Bomberman. I am no good at scanning the area I'm about to walk into.

Blue Yoshi kind of breaks a lot of levels in that game. I'm not sure I have any. Off of the top of my head, I guess I had forgotten you can blow up small animals by clicking on them really fast in just about any Blizzard game ever and when I remembered it I realized I'd owned Starcraft 2 for more than a year, been playing it regularly again since about May or so and had never done it.

Sadly, once I did blow up a Lyote I was fairly underwhelmed. The effect was much cooler in Warcraft 3.
