The problem with lying is that you have to remember everything, otherwise your lie is exposed. This could go two ways, we could agree with what you say and vote for Gabranth and discover if he is a Mafia or a Innocent, or we could disagree with you and lynch you for perceived lying. If it turned out that you were telling the truth and we would know that Gabranth was more than likely Mafia. If we voted for Gabranth and he turned up innocent we would know you were lying. However, I don't know if the Town can afford to lose another innocent just to prove if a claim is true or not. Voting patterns doesn't tell me much. Gabranth voted for Jecht night 1 and Jenova voted Kuja. Neither voted on Day 2.
