We calculate GPA differently here by the way. (we don't use letters for grades )
We usually have like 12 mandatory subjects/courses (we don't get to choose unfortunately), and the grades vary from 4(lowest)-10(highest).
So at the end of high school I had a GPA of 9.05. It's not the best, but it's not too bad either. It got me into college at least.
