    Default Mind Frack Movies

As I get older and more cynical I find I'm completely underwhelmed by movies unless they're total mindfracks. sure I can enjoy the occasional witty comedy still, and maybe even mindless scifi thriller (skyline, anyone?!) but I really, really get into mindfrack movies. And they're usually scifi too.

I just watched source code and... wow... I really loved it. I might have fiddled with the ending slightly, but still. wow. inception was pretty decent, but I think source code is way better. and the adjustment bureau was pretty damn good.

anyone else into these kind of movies? can you recommend any others along those lines?

You wouldn't know a good mind frack if it vigorously pounded your brain with its genitals

on topic: I guess Shutter Island is pretty out there but not too whack.

    I enjoyed The Beach.

It was just different enough to keep me from being bored.

Pretty much anything by David Lynch, especially Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive and Inland Empire (which makes the rest of those films look like a Jennifer Aniston romantic comedy).

David Lynch's movies hardly ever make sense. They're essentially what you want them to be by the end, and your brain is full of smurf.

A Tale of Two Sisters (2003) - IMDb

Is good. A majority of true mindsmurf movies are also drama/horror movies.

    Memento 100%.

A Scanner Darkly does this well. THough it's definitely not for everyone. Black Swan is a lighter version of this as well.
