Ehhh I wouldn't say that means anything. Lots of companies register dummy domains to keep other people from snatching them up. At the most I'd say that maybe they want to keep it open in case they do decide to do such a thing.

Don't know about that. Square loves the spinoffs.

Oh I'm not saying it's impossible. I'm just saying that while they haven't rejected the idea, it's unlikely that they have concrete plans for anything P:

It's just like "Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII", remember that? You guys are going ape sh*t over a domain registry?!? They're just covering their bases so they don't end up like Activision did with that Modernwarfare3.com fiasco (some nut registered the domain and re-directed the traffic to BF3 site). And, like Jess said, they'd want to keep that option open just incase they do decide to make it.

I would say that there may be some limited talks of creating something to take up that Final Fantasy XIII-3 name if the domain has been registered ahead of time. Have other speculative titles had a domain registered for them ahead of time? For example, chronotrigger2.com or finalfantasyxv.com?

Yeah, this reaction was Hux's and mine's also.

(I honestly haven't played XIII, so I have no real opinion on the matter, but it did catch me rather off guard.)
